Gratitude

I opened my email this month to find a message with “Gratitude” in the subject line. This is a portion of the email –

“It felt pretty intense at first, processing so much.  I was nervous to share with my husband or anyone else, so it felt a bit lonely.  I did find the courage after a few days, and that was a type of release, especially with my husband.

I’m having dreams and recalling dreams.  It all seems to fit.

I don’t know where this is going, but I guess I don’t need to.  Just follow the flow, the thread.

Thank you for all you’ve done in supporting me.”

I experienced much of the same intensity and nervousness after my first Akashic Record reading. I was suddenly aware of who I was born to be, and it wasn’t the person I’d been pretending to be for over 50 years. It required a new path with an unknown destination, and it didn’t feel safe. The information I received shined a light on relationships, careers, depression, anger, and regret. I too experienced vivid dreams and sudden “knowing” that retranslated my past and helped me make sense of the wondering about my purpose.

Discovering your true self is intense and it feels dangerous. It means not only discovering strengths, but also things we’ve worked hard to cover up, sometimes for decades. It requires courage to open your soul record and understand the information stored there.

This is transformational work, and it is specific to you. No one else has the same journey and there is no standard advice that is appropriate for everyone. There are no magic words, and no one can do the work for you. You are a unique creation with your own special gifts that waiting to be uncovered.
