Vital Force Energy (VFE) is the energy from Creator/God/Divine Source that animates all human beings and gives them life. It is the energy of creation and the energy we use to create our human experiences.
In the Old Testament this energy has the Hebrew name of ruach, which is the breath of life and the power to live.
“…and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the breath (ruach) returns to God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7
VFE is the energy we generate when we live into our Divine Nature, the person God created us to be. It comes from making positive choices that align to who we are at soul level. We receive more and more VFE as we align our life and our actions to our Spiritual gifts and the Creator’s intentions for our lives.

Sadly, most people access very little VFE. Even highly conscious individuals probably do not access more than 5% of their energy as Vital Force Energy.
This is because discordant energy, the energy we get in our interactions with individuals, groups, and social institutions, is much easier to capture. Discordant energy is what is generated when we want to be liked, safe or in control.

How do we access more VFE? As The Welcoming Prayer suggests, we let go of all the things we have been doing that keep us attached to our base needs. We begin to make new choices that align with our true self and our own unique journey.
This list of discordant energies may surprise you, as we have been taught that some of these are virtues.

How can “help” be a discordant energy? When we try to help someone because we don’t believe they can do it on their own (control), or when we help someone to better our own image (affection). Can you think of ways these discordant energies may be at work in your life? Anytime you say or think you “should” or “need” about yourself or someone else, that’s a pretty good indicator you are engaging in discordant energy. Pay attention to how many times you use these words.
From personal experience, I promise you that increasing your VFE feels different in your body. I can literally feel the energy flowing into my body. It is fabulous to feel and know that you are living into your true self as Creator intended.
