What are the Akashic Records?
The Akashic Records are an energetic database of each of our soul’s choices throughout all our incarnations. The word “akashia” is Hindu for space/air or aether/ether. For Hindus, it is the essence of all things. In Sanskrit the root, “kāś” means “to be.”
Are the Akashic Records Christian?
The Torah, Holy Bible, and Holy Quran each reference the Akashic Records. In the Holy Bible, the Records are the Book of Life and referenced in Daniel 12:1, Psalms 69:28, Philippians 4:3, and multiple places in Revelation. The Christian Mystic, Meister Eckhart likely referred to the Akashic Records when he wrote, “Every creature is a word of God and is a book about God.”
And while I am not particularly interested in debating theology, if you are troubled by the idea of multiple lives, read John 1:21 in the Holy Bible. Clearly the Pharisees believed in reincarnation. The Nag Hammadi also writes about Jesus being the incarnation of Melchizidek. Even though many Christians might say that is false, it still points to an understanding of reincarnation. And in the words of my Spiritual Director, a very wise, ordained minister, “God promises us eternal life. God doesn’t explicitly define how that works.”
Where can I find the Akashic Records?
As spiritual beings, we exist in at least 10 dimensions. (Quantum physics hypothesizes we may be up to 13 dimensions.) Our first and second dimensions are not very useful. Our third dimension is our body (“3-D”). The fourth dimension contains our thoughts, which exist outside our body. At the fifth dimension and above is our higher self. Our Akashic Records exist in the fifth dimension. They are accessed through prayer and meditation. Records can only be accessed with the explicit permission of the owner, and each human can potentially access their own records. Information is looked up, like in a database. There is no talking to souls or spirits. No one can change or muck up your Akashic Record. The only way to change a record is by your own intention. Your intention also impacts the amount and type of information available for a reading.
Can The Records be used for evil?
If you ran to the internet and searched for Akashic Records, you may see some dire warnings. This pains me, but yes, there are people who misuse the Records, and this can harm people. (And don’t lie to yourself – Christianity and every other belief system has been used for evil by some.) Often the Akashic records are used to look up or create stories about past lives. This usage of the records feeds the ego, and usually increases victim energy. I find it disturbing when people talk about past life as the cause of everything happening in present life.
If someone tells you their guides have information for you, please, run the other way. Your records and your guides are for you only, and information is provided when you are ready to receive and use it for your personal benefit. You will never receive mean, hurtful or evil information from your Records.
I rarely vary from using a very specific structure for reading the Records, called a Soul Realignment® Profile. It looks at your Divine Soul Blueprint, how well you are currently living into your Divine Nature, and negative karmic patterns that are blocking you from your Divine Nature.
What information is in the Akashic Records?
Each soul has a Divine Soul Blueprint, created by God, a piece of God, that carries specific spiritual gifts. Our Divine Soul Blueprint is eternal, however, as we make “negative” choices in our lives, it becomes cluttered up. A negative choice is an action that is not congruent with who God created you to be. If we don’t know who God intends us to be, it is impossible to consistently make positive choices. We get a lot of feedback from people around us about what’s right/wrong and what’s good/bad. Many of these judgements come from the early times of human evolution, when our survival depended on our being in community, getting along, not questioning authority, etc. No matter how dangerous you feel the world is today, we do not typically deal with being eaten by animals, falling off cliffs, or getting bludgeoned by our brother.
For our current life status, we look at energetic markers and increased Vital Force Energy, which are present when we make positive choices congruent with our Divine Nature. Vital Force Energy is the energy we get directly from God when we make positive choices.
Over lifetimes, we can also experience “corruptions” to our Divine Soul Blueprint. Blocks and restrictions begin to accumulate in our human experiences that prevent us from accessing our Divine Nature. We notice repeating patterns in our lives, and we feel broken, unloved, or unloving. This is the only time I ever look at past life choices. If negative choices in past lives remain unresolved, we create more negative choices in this life. There are also current life blocks that distort our Divine Self-Expression. We all carry current life blocks and restrictions, and typically they are in our consciousness already.
What is the benefit of the information in the Akashic Records?
The Soul Realignment is exactly that. It brings to consciousness the spiritual gifts and Divine love of God. The Records provide insight into how to live into your Divine Nature. It also brings to consciousness the baggage you are carrying through life from trying to be someone you aren’t. This information supports transformation into your beautiful, divine, True Self.
